WABOLL - edit & improve model answers
In the READ section of the worksheet, provide a model answer which is an example of What A Bad One Looks Like. Pupils should identify spag errors and poorly written sentences.
In the EDIT section pupils should list general (spag) and subject specific things that would improve the answer.
In the IMPROVE section pupils re-write the WABOLL to tranform it into a 'good one'.
Particularly useful to build confidence and challenge pupils to reach higher marks on extended longer answers questions.
Assessment for Learning - Improving Answers
Type into the resources an exam question and a 'not so perfect' model answer. Pupils need to repair the answer by adding in extra detail, ammending mistakes etc.
Useful as an assessment for learning tool or a way of building up to some exam practice.
Twitter & Snapchat Plenary - AfL
Pupils reflect and summarise their learning using:
- text (twitter)
- diagram/picture with a small number of key words (twitter)
Useful as a plenary to summarise learning.
